Questions:

Who can vote at the Fox Ridge PTO Board elections?

- All members can vote! PTO members include all parents/guardians of current Fox Ridge Elementary students and current Fox Ridge Elementary staff.

For elections, can I come and go? Can I bring my kids while I vote?

- You may come and go during the 7:00pm-9:00pm voting time frame. You may bring your children along, but children are not to be unattended and are not encouraged to stay for PTO member meetings. Consider having a conversation with your children about a respectable behavior and volume while you vote.

For elections, do I need to stay for the Member Annual Meeting?

- Although all PTO members are welcome to the monthly PTO meetings, you do not have to stay for the meeting.  Children are not encouraged to stay for PTO monthly meetings.

Can I nominate someone else to be on the PTO Board?

- Due to the time commitment it takes to be on the PTO Board, only self-nominations will be accepted. Contact the current PTO Board Officers with any questions!

I have a commitment/my work schedule prevents me from being able to come in for in-person voting, I want to vote, what can I do?

- If you want to vote but cannot come in on April 13th during the 7:00pm-9:00pm voting window, please email PTOFoxRidge@gmail.com about your conflict and we'll let you know your options!

Who are the nominees for the 2026-2027 PTO Board?

- Nominations are due on April 1st!  Nominees will be announced after April 1st.

Who should I vote for?

- That is entirely up to you! You are welcome to reach out nominees and ask them questions, you should be able to find their contact information in the PTO Directory!  If an office is contested, meaning more than one nominee is running for an office, you may consider reaching out to all nominees.

Why is virtual voting not being offered?

- It is standard practice for PTO Board elections to be in-person only.  Offering virtual voting, especially in a contested election, opens the door for voter duplicity.
